Malcolm CasSelle was recently named CEO of BIGtoken, a consumer data management and distribution system. BIGtoken's mission is to provide everyone in the Internet choice, transparency, and compensation for their digital data. Mr. CasSelle is also on the Board of Directors at NASDAQ:SRAX, a leader in digital marketing and data technology, and Founder of Animus Partners, LLC a management consulting firm serving dynamic technology companies. Mr. CasSelle was the first hire at Worldwide Asset eXchange (WAX.io), an all-in one protocol blockchain for ecommerce, where he co-authored the whitepaper and led a successful $100M capital raise as its President.
He was previously President and CTO at Tribune Publishing overseeing rapid growth properties leveraging digital assets. During his tenure there the stock tripled in value. Previously he was SVP & GM of Digital Media at SeaChange Int'l, a publicly traded company which acquired Timeline Labs, where he was CEO, a leading solution for companies to discover, display and measure engaging content based on social signaling.
Malcolm has led startups in the C-Suite in the digital industry, including MediaPass, a leading digital subscription solution to major media companies, Xfire, a gamer social network of 22M, and Groupon's joint venture with Tencent in China. He has also been an active early investor in companies like Facebook, Zynga, and funds in AI, big data, and blockchain.
He was an early LP in Blockchain Capital and several other technology funds. Earlier in his career, Malcolm was a co-founder of PCCW, a publicly traded telecom based in Hong Kong currently valued in excess of $35 billion USD. During his career, he assisted in raising billions for PCCW's public offering and hundreds of millions for other private transactions.
He holds degrees in Computer Science from both MIT and Stanford University and speaks both Japanese and Mandarin. He is currently an active YPO Bel Air Executive Committee member and serves on the board of advisors for non-profit organizations. He is active supporter of African-American charities promoting science and technology in education.
